Holding of Rostec launches sales in Singapore

Shvabe Holding (part of Rostec) develops export to the countries of Southeast Asia. The company concluded an agreement with the RSTradeHouse LLC – the executive structure of Russia-Singapore Business Council. From September 2018, products of Shvabe are represented in the Singapore technopark within a framework of the exhibition of Russian innovations. All the products are presented not only at the stand, but also on the online platform integrated with regional marketplaces.

The document has been signed by Ivan Ozhgikhin, Deputy General Director for Development of Sales, Marketing and Service Support Systems for Civil Products, and Sergey Pronin, CEO of the RSTradeHouse, during the business mission timed to the High-Level Inter-Governmental Russia-Singapore Commission. The signing ceremony was attended by Deputy CEO of Rostec Nikolay Volobuev.

The cooperation will focus on the promotion of domestic products for early diagnosis and prevention of various diseases, as well as the export of “smart” technologies for the development of urban infrastructure.

“The cooperation is aimed on the effective work with the business community in Singapore and in general on the promotion of Russian products under the Shvabe brand in Southeast Asia. Today, this region is one of the most attractive export markets for us. In Singapore, high technologies are developing very actively and one of the best conditions in the world for business development has been created – this explains our high interest in the supply of systems and devices for digital medicine and “smart cities” in this direction. These solutions of Shvabe have already proven themselves in the practices of other developed countries. Within the framework of the partnership, we will pay special attention to the promotion of medical products aimed at increasing the duration and improving the quality of life of the people. Many of them are designed for home use, which is now actual in the countries of Asia, and will be in demand when caring for the elderly people,” Ivan Ozhgikhin said.

Shvabe delivered in Singapore a telemedicine complex for the automated evaluation ECG “Cardiometer-MT”, a blood pressure corrector AVR-051 and Zenitar photographic lenses. Until the end of the year, the holding will complement its exposition in Singapore with neonatal equipment for intensive care, resuscitation and transportation of newborns other products.

Russia-Singapore Business Council was established in 2009 under the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation under the auspices of Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the State Corporation Rostec. The Chairman of the Council is Nikolay Volobuev – CEO’s Deputy of the State Corporation Rostec.

Center for Overseas Promotion of Russian High-Tech Companies and the Presentation of investment projects was founded in 2017 on the basis of Singapore company Progression Engineering (S) Pte Ltd.
